Christmas Subway Art

I've had a lot of fun being crafty since I've had the week off of work, so I had to squeeze in another project! You can see lots of subway art on Pinterest and I've always loved it, so I decided to make a Christmas one. I started with just a 16x20 canvas that I got at Michaels (They were on sale- 4 of them for $10!).

Then I got out the Cricut and cut out the words I wanted to make out of vinyl. Once I had laid them all out on the canvas the way I like it, I just pulled the backing off and stuck them down. Then I just simply spray painted over the entire canvas. After I let it dry for an hour or so, I pulled off the vinyl letters and this was the result. Super easy and fun!

Coffee Filter Wreath

I had seen these wreaths a few times on pinterest and thought they just looked so beautiful and they are so simple to make. There is really no way to mess it up. All you need is a wreath form (I used a straw one - $4.99 from Michaels), a hot glue gun and coffee filters. That's it!

Burlap Christmas Stocking

This is the first post that I've made to this blog. I am addicted to pinterest and spend way too many hours on there "pinning" everything and anything that I love! So I decided that instead of spending so many hours pinning, I was going to put some of those pins to good use and create the things that I had pinned. I might recreate something exactly how I see it or I might tweak it here and there to how I like it. Hopefully there will be many more posts on here to come!

This first picture is of a burlap stocking that I made for my daughter. I am really excited with how it turned out.

These are the stockings that I made for my family all together. I did the boys a little simpler with some pleating and the girls are fun with the ruffles and flowers. I don't have all my Christmas decorations up yet, so I haven't got them on the mantle as of right now. But I will post a pic as soon as I do!
